Why Are My Teeth Stained?
Teeth can become stained due to a variety of reasons. Smoking can cause discolouration on the teeth as well as certain food and drinks. After your whitening treatment, your teeth will look fresher, cleaner and younger. We currently offer the ultimate in teeth whitening, with top-up treatments throughout the year, helping to keep stains at bay.
Our patient base expands far and wide, so whether you are located in Manchester, the surrounding towns including Prestwich and Salford or much further afield, we welcome you to contact us.
Will My Teeth Still Look Natural After Whitening?
Your teeth can look as natural or cosmetically enhanced as you would like. Because we take a tailored approach to teeth whitening, working with the requirements and budget of the patient at the forefront of our minds, we offer a variety of methods to achieve your desired results.
During your consultation, you’ll have the chance to talk to your dentist about how you want your teeth to appear after whitening.
How is Teeth Whitening Carried Out?
One method of whitening teeth uses a mouth ‘tray’. In the first instance, impressions of the mouth are taken, from which a study model is made. The model is then painted with a special material which increases the thickness of the tooth area. When the tray is prepared, a small pocket is produced for the whitening solution to sit in – this pocket ensures that the solution only comes into contact with the teeth being whitened and avoids any damage happening to the soft gums – keeping your mouth happy and healthy.
At Love-Teeth Dental Practice, we ensure that all patients under our care are fully knowledgeable of the processes of each procedure before it is booked in and carried out so you know exactly what to expect.
Does Teeth Whitening Hurt?
No. When carried out by a registered, professional dentist, teeth whitening is a safe procedure that does not hurt.
