Dr B David Cohen is a highly experienced Specialist Endodontist with over 40 years in clinical practice. During this time, he has treated more than 30,000 teeth and has worked closely with referring dentists to help patients save teeth that might otherwise be lost. He is known for his calm, reassuring manner and for taking time to explain procedures clearly, helping patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment.

Dr Cohen qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital of London and later developed a strong interest in endodontics, undertaking advanced postgraduate training in both the UK and the United States, including at Boston University. He holds an MSc and a PhD in Endodontics from the University of Manchester, with research that contributed to the development of new, patented materials used in root canal treatment and pulp care.

In 1981, Dr Cohen established a practice limited to endodontics, which he ran full time for many years. Alongside his clinical work, he has been actively involved in dental education as a Lecturer at Manchester Dental Hospital and as an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Manchester. He has lectured widely in the UK and USA and has served as President of the British Endodontic Society.

Dr Cohen continues to work as a locum specialist, allowing him to balance clinical practice with family life while still doing the work he enjoys most. He also has extensive experience as an expert witness and is a member of the Expert Witness Institute.
