Dr Ilana Pine
Dental Surgeon
Dr Ilana Pine
I qualified from the University of Manchester in 1998. I completed my vocational training in 1999 during which time I took on some large restorative cases.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry. I love the variety and enjoy working with people.
In 2012 I completed my MFDS exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. I have recently been working on my masters in dental Implantology and have already achieved this with Merit! I am continuously learning to increase my skills and welcome new technologies that help my patients.
I have a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, especially the Align, Bleach and Bond model of creating beautiful smiles with little to no damage to natural tooth tissue, otherwise known as minimally invasive dentistry.
I place great emphasis on making my patients feel at ease in the dental chair both with my gentle approach and with the in-chair entertainment system. Many previously nervous patients have been transformed at Love-Teeth.
I offer cosmetic options to all treatments and can help you improve your smile both functionally and aesthetically.
I look forward to welcoming new and existing patients into my purpose built, state-of-the-art new premises in Prestwich.
See you there!

Dr Alistair Armer
I qualified from Manchester University in 2002 before embarking on a career as a Dental Officer with the British Army for 20 years. During this time I travelled the globe providing high quality dental care to military personnel and their dependants.
In 2012 I passed the MJDF exam with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Later in my career returned to the College as an examiner, assessing the skills of dentists in the UK and overseas. I am currently a clinical tutor with the University of Manchester, helping train the next generation of dentists.
I continually keep up to date with advancements in dentistry and have undertaken thousands of hours of advanced training in Restorative Dentistry, gaining the prestigious Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2019 and a Masters degree, with distinction, in 2021; which has enabled me to take on more complex cases. I have a special interest in occlusion, worn teeth, endodontics (root canal treatment) and all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. I have always had an artistic side and love to sculpt new smiles with composite bonding or veneers.
My dentistry conforms to biomimetic and minimally invasive principles where possible, placing restorations that maintain as much healthy tooth tissue as possible, whilst looking and functioning like natural teeth.
I have been praised for my welcoming, gentle and enthusiastic approach to dentistry, delivering patient-focussed treatment in a calm and relaxed environment. I truly believe in empowering my patients, so they understand what is going on inside their mouths. I will answer all your questions and discuss treatment options available, helping you find the perfect treatment to meet your needs.
Outside of dentistry I enjoy DIY, photography, mountaineering, following F1, being a volunteer leader at my local cub scout group and most importantly spending time with my wife and 2 children. Fun fact: I own a full size stormtrooper costume!

I qualified from Leeds dental institute in 1993. Since then I have worked in NHS, private and specialist practices and also in hospital. 5 years after qualifying I gained a teacher certificate and worked as tutor hygienist at Leeds dental hospital two days a week combined with working in practice.
I have worked with Dr Leo Klein and Dr Ilana Pine for more than fifteen years, now splitting my working week between Love-Teeth, another private practice and a specialist private hospital where I treat patients along with a role tutoring Hygiene /Therapy students in dental implant care. I have been married for 15 years and have two step children and two girls aged 12 and 7. In my spare time, I teach gymnastics to girls aged 9-14 years.
Working with patients with implants more closely has lead to the opportunity to be involved in developing an implant maintenance course design for hygienist and therapists. Together with a colleague I lecture around the country, to the whole dental team on Implant Care.

I started working here at Love-Teeth in June 2022. I’ve always knew I had an interest in dentistry. So when I saw this job opportunity, I knew it was time to make the jump from my previous experience in retail and customer service. I have been loving being a part of the Love-Teeth team ever since I had started.
I enjoy the variety of different treatments and many patients at Love-Teeth as this is really helping me with my continued learning. I’m looking forward to continuing my dentistry journey and exploring the opportunities that I could go onto after qualifying as a Dental Nurse.
Out of work, my favourite things to do are going on fun days out with my friends and family, going out for food, socialising and long walks.

I have started my apprenticeship in June after going to college doing my A-levels and BTECs. I wanted to do dental nursing to help people with their physical and mental health as a lot of people struggle with their appearance and continuous care.
I am enjoying my time at Love-teeth and all the staff are welcoming and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better place to learn on the job. Outside of work I spend time with friends and family and stay active at the gym.

I started Love-Teeth in March 2022, as a Dental Nurse Apprentice. Since starting, I’ve been guided and helped by all staff members, who are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The working environment is amazing especially as a trainee – you can develop your skills and grow so much. I absolutely love working at Love-Teeth, the opportunities that have been given me and all the other staff members is incredible.

I am the head receptionist and practice manager at Love-Teeth Dental Practice. I first trained as a dental nurse 34 years ago, and as such I have a great insight to the surgical side of the practice which helps me in my duties.
I began working at the practice in February 2017 and have built some wonderful relationships with not just my colleagues but with patients also. I love the friendly atmosphere we have which I think definitely helps to keep patients calm.
