Dr Ilana Pine
Principal Dentist & Implantologist
University of Manchester, 1998
GDC No. 74579
Dr Ilana Pine, BDS
I qualified from the University of Manchester in 1998. I completed my vocational training in 1999 during which time I took on some large restorative cases.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry. I love the variety and enjoy working with people.
In 2012 I completed my MFDS exams at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. I have recently been working on my masters in dental Implantology and have already achieved this with Merit! I am continuously learning to increase my skills and welcome new technologies that help my patients.
I have a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry, especially the Align, Bleach and Bond model of creating beautiful smiles with little to no damage to natural tooth tissue, otherwise known as minimally invasive dentistry.
I place great emphasis on making my patients feel at ease in the dental chair both with my gentle approach and with the in-chair entertainment system. Many previously nervous patients have been transformed at Love-Teeth.
I offer cosmetic options to all treatments and can help you improve your smile both functionally and aesthetically.
I look forward to welcoming new and existing patients into my purpose built, state-of-the-art new premises in Prestwich.
See you there!

She was also trained by well-known Dr Harry Singh to be able to provide facial aesthetics treatment using Botox and dermal fillers.
Outside of dentistry, she likes to travel (31 countries and counting), cooking for family and friends, and keeping fit. She has a keen interest in fine art and her creative flair shows in her dental treatment.

Dr Dalya Shtrosberg, BChD
Hi I’m Dalya and I have been working at Love Teeth since 2023. I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 and completed my vocational training in Burnley and have worked in general practice ever since. I have a passion for creating stress-free dental experiences, especially for those with anxiety. With almost 12 years of experience, I prioritize your comfort and tailor treatments to your needs.
I've undergone additional training in minimally invasive cosmetic treatments and stay current with the latest techniques in dentistry. This allows me to offer the latest solutions for enhancing your smile while ensuring your well-being.
Beyond dentistry, I love cooking and enjoy walking in the countryside, but my greatest joy is spending time with my family. I'm happily married with two young children, and family values guide my approach to care. Whether it's in the dental practice or at home, creating a warm and supportive environment is always a priority.
At Love-Teeth, we create a welcoming atmosphere to alleviate anxiety. From routine check-ups to more involved procedures, my goal is to make your experience comfortable and positive.
Dr Mitra Elli
Endodontist
Tabriz University, 2000
GDC No. 278372
Dr Mitra Elli, DDD
Dr. Mitra Elli graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000 in Iran. Her passion for endodontics led her to a three-year full-time specialty training program in endodontology at the prestigious University of Shahid Beheshti in Tehran. She started to practice as a board-certified specialist endodontist in 2003. She also had the privilege of serving as an Associate Professor where she shared her expertise in endodontics with the next generation of dental professionals.
In 2009, she moved to the UK with her family and called it home. After passing Oversea Registration Exams, she became registered with the UK General Dental Council and resumed her practice exclusively in the field of endodontics, accepting referrals with all levels of complexities, and providing comprehensive solutions even for the most challenging endodontic problems. Mitra takes pride in building an excellent connection with her patients as well as referring dentists and providing a stress-free and high-quality treatment, turning a potentially daunting procedure into a comfortable and pain-free experience.
Mitra’s passion and commitment to education align perfectly with her role as a clinical tutor in endodontics for postgraduate students at Dental Hospital Manchester University. She is an active member of British Endodontic Society, the European Society of Endodontology, the American Association of Endodontics and North West Endodontic Study Club (NORWESC), a group of endodontic specialists and academics from the North West and Midlands who meet quarterly.
In her free time, Mitra finds solace in quality moments spent with her family. She enjoys being outdoors and reading, baking, and outdoor activities. Her ultimate aspiration is to explore as many corners of the Earth as possible during her lifetime.
Dr Sandra Glass
Oral Surgeon
Dublin, 1986
GDC No. 62003
Dr Sandra Glass, BDentSc
LoveTeeth is very privileged to have an Oral Surgeon, Dr Sandra Glass, working at the dental cosmetic surgery. Sandra performs the majority of the extractions, predominantly wisdom teeth at our dental surgery.
Wisdom teeth are third molars that usually appear between the ages of 16 and 25 at the back of the mouth. They are commonly extracted when they affect other teeth – this is known as “impacted wisdom teeth”. Wisdom teeth can grow unnoticed until they start to cause issues in the mouth.
Wisdom teeth are extracted either because they have already become impacted or because they are potentially problematic.
Dr Sally Pawlik
Associate Dentist
University of Liverpool, 1998
GDC No. 75388
Dr Sally Pawlik, BDS, MFDS
I qualified from Liverpool University in 1998. I then completed my vocational training and worked for a year in Wythenshawe hospital as a maxillofacial senior house officer focusing on jaw problems, orthodontics, oral medicine and oral surgery.
I then I completed my MFDS and MFGFP exam with the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow studying all aspects of oral medicine and pathology.
I also worked as a clinical tutor at Manchester University before my second child was born.
I enjoy continued learning and have completed a number of courses over the recent years including a year’s cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign (orthodontics), whitening and root canal treatment and this has helped me build on my skills to restore smiles and build patient’s confidence in a minimally invasive way preserving as much of the natural teeth as possible.
One of my favourite aspects of dentistry is getting to know my patients and their wishes and trying to create a happy and relaxed patient journey. I feel I am approachable and am willing to give you all the time you need.
Outside of dentistry, I am lucky to have a great family. I play netball for 2 local teams and we’re always looking for players! I like running and cycling and volunteering at my local Foodbank.
I am really happy to be a part of this great team.
Dr Alastair Armer
Associate Dentist
University of Manchester, 2002
GDC No. 80467
Dr Alastair Armer, BDS, MSc
I graduated as a dentist from Manchester University in 2002 after being awarded the prestigious 'Best Research Presentation' prize in my final year.
Later that year, I joined the British Army where I had the honour of providing high quality dental care to armed forces personnel and their dependents in the UK and overseas for 20 years. I treated patients from many different backgrounds, sometimes in rather challenging environments. I am immensely proud of my military service. During this time my main mission was to provide high quality dental treatment that was going to last. I have carried on this ethos since leaving the Army.
I truly believe in lifelong education and am dedicated in staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques. I have honed my skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, undertaking thousands of hours of postgraduate training to provide the best dentistry I can to my patients. I have been awarded multiple post graduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and am a Member of the College of General Dentistry. I have a Diploma and Masters (distinction) in Restorative Dentistry.
My passion for cosmetic dentistry is centred around a love for creating beautiful, natural looking bespoke smiles to present the best version of you... your smile, but better 🙂
I am a bit of a perfectionist with a critical eye for detail which helps me elevate the standard of care I can provide. I love the reaction of my patients after I have transformed their smile. Giving patients back their confidence is so rewarding. Please peruse my Smile Gallery to see some of the smile transformations I have created for my patients.
Outside of work, I love being a husband and father to my two wonderful children. I enjoy going on adventures - seeing the world and experiencing different cultures, mountaineering, skiing, SCUBA diving, photography, pottering about in the garden and giving back as a volunteer leader with my local scout group.
